About ABA Pathways

We are a team of behaviour analysts, including BCBAs and RBTs, with a combined 54 years’ experience working in special educational needs, specialising in teaching children and young adults with diagnoses of autism, related communication impairments and challenging behaviours.

We are passionate about using the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis, with an emphasis on Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred strategies, to create meaningful impacts in the lives of all those that we work with.

The Role

Job purpose

As a Tutor with ABA Pathways, you will provide individualised 1:1 support to children and young people with SEND, implementing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Verbal Behaviour (VB) and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies under the oversight of a Behaviour Analyst. Support may take place at our setting, in family homes, in the community and/or in schools/nurseries.

  • To build and maintain positive and motivating relationships with learners.
  • To implement agreed programmes consistently.
  • To create engaging resources to support learning.
  • To collect accurate progress and behaviour data.
  • To work collaboratively with the wider team.
  • To safeguard all learners in your care.

Person specification

We are looking for reliable, motivated people who are committed to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

Essential:
Experience working with Children with SEN
Reliable and committed
Keen to develop skills

Desirable:
Experience working with the field of ABA

A DBS Check will be required for this role.
